Development and Extension
The Development and Extension Section is responsible for infrastructure development and maintenance, product development and appropriate technology transfer, gear & vessel safety, training, etc.)
These include construction of quays, ice plants, to support the growth of pre - and post-harvest fishing activities. Assistance is provided by several agencies such as the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Overseas Fishery Cooperation Foundation (OFCF).
