What Our Clients Say
About Us
James Nancy a member of the Cascade fishers Association has been fishing for more than 40 years. He please with the support provided by the SFA provides to all registered fishermen and boat owners. However, he believes that the SFA should also consider implementing regulations for fish trap method being used in mackerel fishing, as some are highly destructive.
James Nancy
Cascade FisherWhen Roger Robert started fishing there were limited facilities in the district, and he would sell his catch under a calys du pape tree nearby. However numerous projects have since been undertaken and completed to enhance the fishing community of cascade and Seychelles as a whole. Mr Robert recommend that SFA explore the possibility of bait to fishermen, as this has become a major challenge.
Roger Robert
Cascade fisherI believe the support provided by the SFA to our fishing community is essential. The new fish market, gear store, and other facilities have significantly improved our daily lives. The existing regulations are crucial for the sustainability of our resources. He suggests that increased engagement and consultation with fishers will strengthen the positive relationship between both parties.

Anse Etoile FishmongerOver the last 25 years, I have witnessed significant advancements in the fishing industry, including the construction of facilities and support for fishermen. I applaud the SFA for promptly implementing regulations to ensure that future generations can also enjoy the benefits of our oceans. These regulations were necessary, and I believe more should be introduced, especially as marine species are increasingly being overfished.
